Pick a window, then a frame, then a codec
Every ETERNA recording is three decisions in order. The sensor window decides what glass covers and how big the image looks. The recording mode decides pixels, aspect and the frame-rate ceiling. The codec is last and never changes the picture.

Drawn to scale against the full chip. The dashed grey frame is an ALEXA Mini LF at open gate (36.7 × 25.5 mm) for reference. Tap a format or a rectangle.

Any mode records to any codec. ProRes bitrate is fixed by the flavor; H.265 lets you pick. Data rates below are for the frame you selected above.
Apple ProRes
10-bit 4:2:2 · fixed rateMOV or MXF wrapper. CFexpress Type B only. Rates scale with pixels × fps; figures are estimates from Apple's published 1080p rates.
Rule of thumb: 422 HQ for anything graded, 422 when the card budget matters, LT for interviews and b-roll that will stay close to camera. No 4444 and no internal RAW.
H.265 / HEVC
10-bit 4:2:2 · selectableMOV or MXF wrapper. Same five bitrates in every mode, so the picture quality per pixel changes with the resolution you chose. Tap a rate.
720 Mbps needs CFexpress or a V90 SD card; 360 needs V60; lower rates run on any V30 card. All-Intra edits like ProRes; Long GOP is a quarter the size for the same look but asks more of the edit machine.
Proxy recording (H.264 or ProRes Proxy) can run beside the main file on the second slot. External RAW is output only: HDMI carries 4K 4:3 Open Gate, 4K 16:9, 8K 17:9 and 8K 16:9; SDI carries the two 4K sizes.
